Bad haze in S'pore

Hey lovelies! I'm back to post about the BAD HAZE in S'pore. As many of you may or may not know, this is due to the forest fires in Indonesia. The haze has really hit Singaporeans real bad, it is so bad that ALL our masks are sold out! As i'm typing away, the PSI level here has already hit us at about 400+ it has already reached the hazardous level. What infuriates me the most now is after what the Indonesian government has to say about the haze they have caused in S'pore after a meeting: " Singapore shouldn't be like children, in such a tizzy" "Its not what Indonesian wants, its nature."

Now first of all, do you think this level of PSI 400 is a joke?! You guys in Indonesia may be used to it due to the yearly burning of forest fires. But for us NO, this haze has never hit us that BAD. Breathing in all this haze could potentially cause us cancer do you know that? Now after all this you think we are behaving like a child?! We are taking great precautions for our health. And you are just being damn inconsiderate, after all the help we've offered to you, sending rescue teams to your country to help this is all that you can say?

Its nature?! You kidding me?! Look at the birds they are dying from the haze! Nature would potentially set its own forest on fire? What a retard thing to say.  My heart goes out to all the poor living on the streets who couldn't afford themselves a mask. I urge all Singaporeans out there, if you are out on your way to purchase masks that are already in stock, if you see any poor living on the streets, please I urge you to prolly just give them 1 mask. If your mask is the N95 type I can understand not giving. But if you purchase those surgical masks in a box, do give them 1. I'm heading down to Orchard today and will be looking out for the poor people selling things on the streets. NO, i'm not boasting but I do hope you guys could help them out and take it as doing a good deed. Hopefully the Singaporean government could also take action and give out masks to the poor. I'm sure that it would be greatly appreciated.

Speaking of surgical masks there are two sides to the masks, the white side contains the filter.
  • If we have flu, the white side should attach to our face (the color side faces out) to filter the micro-organism not to spread them out to others
  • If we are not ill, the white side should face out to protect micro-organism from environment to come to contact with us - http://peacewisher.blogspot.sg/2009/09/correct-ways-to-wear-surgical-mask.html

So lovelies do stay safe and hopefully this haze would die down soon.. Take care! X
